Role overview

We seek a dynamic Senior Data Scientist to leverage data for operational excellence and develop advanced machine learning models. You will collaborate with ML and Data Engineers to deploy models and provide AI expertise organization-wide.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop Machine Learning Models: Create, validate, and maintain algorithms for tabular and time-series data.
  2. Run Data Science Experiments: Design and evaluate experiments to improve models.
  3. Analyze Data: Perform in-depth analysis and deliver actionable insights.
  4. Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to align projects with company goals.
  5. Stay Current: Keep up with latest advancements in data science, cloud, and DevOps.
  6. Master Databases: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, understand OLAP and OLTP systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in data science and machine learning with impactful projects.
  • Experience with training models on tabular and time-series data using classical and deep learning methods.
  • Proficiency in building data pipelines, training models, and conducting experiments with industry tools.
  • Advanced SQL skills, debugging complex queries, understanding OLTP vs. OLAP; experience with OLAP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bonus points

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in ML pipelines and MLOps tools like MLflow or Feast.
  • Hands-on with large-scale OLAP systems (Clickhouse, BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Knowledge of advanced modeling techniques for complex datasets.
