YouTube Manager
Descrizione dell'offerta
Knwn Local (formerly A Impact Media) is on a mission to empower real estate professionals to own their market through media.
At Knwn Local, we don't just manage accounts we drive results. If you're exceptional at client success and align with our core values: Put People First, Always Be Dependable, Be The Best & One Mission One Team, we want to know you.
Role
Here’s the short version: the YouTube Manager is the Strategist’s right hand. You’re the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks between strategy and execution.
We’re building the top real estate YouTube channels in the country. The Strategist sets the direction. You make sure it actually happens, on time, on brand, and at a level our clients are proud of. That means owning the post‑production pipeline, keeping the team accountable on deadlines, communicating with clients weekly, and handling all the coordination that lets the Strategist stay focused on higher‑level work.
Think of it as part project manager, part client success advocate, part YouTube nerd. You’re not reviewing every edit frame‑by‑frame. You’re making sure the right people are doing the right things at the right time, and that the client always knows what’s going on.
This is also a growth role. You’ll be shadowing the Strategist constantly, learning how they think about channels, content strategy, and client relationships. The goal is for you to develop into a Strategist yourself over time. We’d rather hire one great YouTube Manager with real potential than two okay ones.
If you like the idea of being the operational backbone behind channels that are actually changing how real estate agents build their businesses, keep reading.
Responsibilities
Strategic Bridge & Team Leadership
- Be the bridge between clients and the Strategists. If something can get done without pulling the Strategist in, you handle it
- Act as the Strategist’s EA, anticipate what they need, remove friction, keep things moving so they can focus on the stuff only they can do
- Shadow the Strategist closely. Learn how they think about channel strategy, client growth, and content decisions. This is your development track into a Strategist role
- Keep editors, thumbnail designers, and production team members accountable on timelines. If something’s late, you’re the one who catches it first
- Coach and develop your direct reports through consistent feedback
- Test AI tools that can speed up pre‑ and post‑production. If there’s a way to get better work done faster, find it
- Coordinate with marketing, shorts teams, and external stakeholders for distribution
Client Success & Communication
- Send weekly client updates, what happened, how it performed, what’s coming next
- Handle all posting and publishing: descriptions, tags, end screens, cards, scheduling. Details matter here
- Be the first point of contact for client questions. Only loop in the Strategist when it actually requires strategic input
- Present YouTube metrics (CTR, retention, view velocity, subscriber growth) in a way clients can understand and get excited about
- Make every client feel like they’re getting white‑glove service
Post‑Production Management (Primary Focus)
This is the core of the job. You own the pipeline from the moment a client finishes filming to the moment the video is live and optimized.
- Own the post‑production timeline and upload calendar across your client accounts
- Make sure clients actually film on schedule and get footage to the editing team on time
- Manage the full edit‑review‑revision‑approval cycle: route edits to clients, track their feedback, coordinate revisions with editors, get final approval
- Post and optimize every video, titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, end screens, cards, scheduling
- Work with the Senior Editor on retention notes and quality standards. You’re not reviewing cuts yourself, you’re making sure the process moves without bottlenecks
- Run regular retention reviews with the team to spot patterns and improve engagement
- Build SOPs, brand guidelines, and process docs that make post‑production repeatable and tight
- Track YouTube scorecard metrics (retention, view velocity, subscriber growth) and present weekly insights to your Strategist and team
YouTube Operations & Infrastructure
- Build and maintain scalable systems for packaging, publishing, and production handoffs
- Help run A/B tests on thumbnails and titles across the back catalogue
- Make sure every video reinforces each client’s authority and brand—consistent tone, consistent quality
- Document content experiments and test results so the team gets smarter over time
- Project manage writing and design deliverables so the content pipeline doesn’t stall
