Role Overview: We are looking for a Yield Optimization Engineer to join our R&D team. This role is central to ensuring that our SAW/BAW resonators and filters achieve high yield and manufacturability. Whether you are an experienced engineer or a newly graduated candidate eager to grow, this position offers the chance to work at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and reliability engineering.
You will learn and apply advanced yield optimization techniques, investigate root causes of yield loss, and help drive continuous improvement in design-for-manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform statistical yield analysis using methods such as SPC, DOE, regression, and Pareto analysis
- Develop and apply design-for-manufacturing (DFM) strategies to improve yield and reduce variability
- Collaborate with design teams to integrate yield optimization into resonator and filter architectures
- Investigate root causes of yield loss and propose corrective actions
- Work with fabrication and production teams to monitor yield trends and process stability
- Automate data collection, visualization, and reporting to accelerate yield learning cycles
Qualifications
- Education:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field (preferred)
- B.S. graduates with strong analytical and programming skills are encouraged to apply
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods (SPC, DOE, regression, Monte Carlo, etc.)
- Familiarity with SAW, BAW, or MEMS resonator/filter design (experience is a plus, but not required for new graduates)
- Basic understanding of micro-device manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation
- Familiarity with RF measurement instruments and techniques (preferred)
- Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication skills (English required)

o Willingness to learn and apply new yield optimization techniques
