We have an exciting opportunity for a
Workday HRIS Analyst
in our
Milan
office.
Department Overview The HRIS team sits within the wider HR function and is responsible for the configuration, administration, and optimisation of the Workday HCM platform across EMEA. The team partners closely with HR and business stakeholders to ensure the platform supports evolving people processes, maintains data integrity, and drives operational efficiency. This role reports to the Manager, HRIS EMEA, and plays a key part in delivering system enhancements, resolving issues, and supporting ongoing Workday performance across modules including Absence/Time-Off, Compensation, Performance/Talent, and Recruiting.
What You’ll Do
Configure, test, and implement system changes and enhancements across the Workday HCM platform
Design and maintain Workday business processes and system configurations to support evolving business needs
Lead requirements gathering and prioritisation sessions with HR and business partners
Manage and deliver configuration requests, building strong relationships with stakeholders across brands
Troubleshoot and resolve both basic and complex system issues, providing end-user support as needed
Maintain Workday system structures including supervisory organisations, EIBs, and transaction support
Develop and deliver reporting requests, presenting insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders
Lead or support HRIS projects, including configuration, testing, and process improvements
Partner with HR to conduct recurring audits ensuring data accuracy and compliance across EMEA
Identify opportunities to improve system functionality and operational efficiency, providing recommendations
Maintain discretion and confidentiality of sensitive employee data at all times
You’ll Need to Have
2+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including configuration and system support
Strong understanding of HR processes and Workday HCM functionality
Experience with reporting, data analysis, and Excel

Experience with Workday business processes, calculated fields, or advanced reporting
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex system issues
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
