For our R&D center in Milan , we are looking for a Junior Wireless Application Engineer – Intern to join our Quality Assurance team , supporting the validation and testing of LTE and 5G solutions .
This internship offers hands-on technical exposure, collaboration within an international R&D environment, and the opportunity to develop practical skills in wireless technologies and test automation.
Responsibilities

• Support UE SIM (UeSIM / RuSIM) feature validation and regression testing
• Design and execute test cases
• Perform HW/SW fault analysis and troubleshooting
• Report and track bugs with R&D teams
• Contribute to test automation, developing automated test scenarios for CI/CD pipelines
• Provide remote customer support, including:
• UeSIM / RuSIM configuration
• Integration of test scenarios in customer labs
• Software installation and upgrades
  

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Telecommunications Engineering
• Familiarity with Linux and/or Unix operating systems
• Good English, written and spoken
  

• Basic knowledge of networking protocols
• Basic understanding of GSM / UMTS / LTE / 5G networks
• Exposure to real-time and embedded systems
