We're looking for a Wharehouse Supervisor



Mission:

Manage and organize all warehouse activities related to inbound and outbound flows, including goods receipt, material storage, component preparation for line feeding, and finished product shipping. Responsible for inventory management and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for hierarchical management of operators and/or teams in a Distribution Center/Warehouse.

• Responsible for employee performance, development, engagement, discipline, etc.

• Responsible for the performance of "standard work" within his or her sector or department.

• May occasionally fill in for or assist operators as needed.

• Responsible for assigning tasks among operators, developing their polyvalence, to ensure the required service level.

• Responsible for cycle inventory count execution and results.

Main Activities:

• Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.

• Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.

• As manager, he’s the legal responsible in case of accident

• Optimize daily / weekly balance workload / resources (internal, external storage and freight capacities); Adjust MPH (Material Providing and Handling) programs according to customer priorities in the adhoc Systems.

• Ensure management of the logistics process receiving goods > stocking > picking > Material handling

• Lead the Regular communication according to Schneider “Short Interval Management” Rules (SIM) caring in KPI’s and corrective actions

• Synchronize support function actors on short term actions

• Organize the training needs of teams and manage the versatility in accordance with the target defined

• Manage warehouse processes performance and his team according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the plant

• Deploy & implement SC Planning Central team guidelines for inventory management

• Ensure inventories accuracy with permanent alignment between operations & inventory (IT data & physical situation)

• Guarantee that service level, quality environment, process lead time, maintenance & productivity goals are reached

• Manage the yearly HR appraisal of all people inside the sector

• Monitor and analyse logistic costs


Qualifications and Skills:

· Higher education in a scientific field or equivalent

· Proven experience in a similar role or related industry (high variability, high speed and very short lead times)

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
