The Website Content & Optimization Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring Sector Alarm Italy’s website is effective, up to date, and continuously improving in performance. This role combines content management, user experience awareness, and optimization know-how to maintain and enhance the website as a strategic asset.
Working closely with local and group-level teams, this person ensures our digital presence supports lead generation, communicates our value propositions clearly, and reflects both the local and international brand direction. The ideal candidate combines operational agility with a performance‑oriented mindset and is comfortable contributing to A/B testing and user experience projects in coordination with the Group CRO Manager. This is a well‑rounded role that bridges content execution, web performance monitoring, and the continuous improvement of user journeys across our digital touchpoints.
Reports to: Marketing Director (with functional alignment to Group CRO Manager)
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day‑to‑day content management of the Italian Sector Alarm website, including updates to products, campaigns, promotions, and localized pages.
- Ensure all website content is accurate, brand‑aligned, and consistent with group‑level communications and new feature rollouts.
- Coordinate with the Lead Acquisition and Brand teams to translate new initiatives into timely and relevant website updates.
- Perform regular content audits to identify gaps compared to other Sector Alarm country websites.
- Collaborate with the Group CRO Manager on international optimization projects, including A/B testing execution and reporting.
- Maintain familiarity with tools like VWO or similar platforms used in testing and optimization.
- Set up, manage, and test landing pages for local marketing initiatives using available CMS tools (e.g., HubSpot CMS).
- Troubleshoot minor UI or formatting issues directly within the CMS or by coordinating with web developers where needed.
- Support website performance tracking, helping to surface insights about bounce rates, time on page, or form completions.
- Maintain a clear backlog of content updates, testing opportunities, and UX improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing content within a CMS (HubSpot, WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
- Comfort with hands‑on editing and troubleshooting of website pages, including basic HTML and visual layout logic.
- Familiarity with CRO and A/B testing principles, ideally with exposure to tools like VWO, Google Optimize, or Optimizely.
- Awareness of UX/UI fundamentals and ability to evaluate whether a webpage provides a smooth and intuitive user journey.
- Good command of written and spoken English, capable of understanding group guidance and collaborating across countries.
- Proactive, organized, and execution‑driven mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders across marketing, product, and design teams.
Nice to have
- Experience working on multi‑country or multi‑language websites.
- Basic knowledge of website analytics tools (GA4, Hotjar, etc.)
- Past exposure to SEO‑oriented content structuring.
- Experience creating simple performance reports from site metrics.
