Web Software Engineer
We are looking for a Web Software Engineer to contribute to the evolution of E.ON's web channels, focusing on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. The role involves front‑end development, configuration and evolution of AEM‑based solutions, integration with enterprise systems, and collaboration with UX, marketing, business and group stakeholders to ensure architectural consistency and adoption of common guidelines.
Responsibilities
Build modern web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable components. Ensure code quality via testing, standards, and reviews. Optimize performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility. Integrate REST APIs and work with backend services and enterprise systems. Manage digital flows (funnels, user journeys). Improve online sales funnels and evolve self‑service customer areas. Support app‑web integration within an omnichannel ecosystem. Contribute to personalization and journey initiatives. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily, planning, review, retro). Collaborate cross‑functionally and share knowledge across teams. Adopt and enforce corporate technology and design standards. Work independently with end‑to‑end responsibility and lead external vendor teams.
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in web development. Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript knowledge. Understanding of DOM and rendering lifecycle. Experience with React or similar frameworks. Experience integrating REST APIs. Basic Java knowledge and familiarity with AEM. Proficiency with Git and Agile methodology. Fluency in English is required.
