Wealth & Asset Management Consultant – Digital and Business Transformation Focus

Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management and Wealth & Asset Management solutions, Prometeia is seeking talent to join our Wealth Management consulting team, contributing to the innovation of business models and the digital transformation of leading financial institutions. With regard to the newly created Luxembourg Branch, we are seeking to strengthen the team by hiring skilled and engaged professionals.
Main Tasks
As a Wealth Management Consultant, you will join a highly multicultural, fast-growing, and dynamic environment, active in the digital and business transformation advisory space. Projects span from business and digital transformation strategy to execution, leveraging leading-edge technologies for important financial institutions in the Luxembourg market.
- Support business innovation and digital transformation projects in Wealth & Asset Management and Insurance
- Project Management and PMO support (waterfall and agile)
- Coordinate program activities in complex organizational and regulatory contexts, interacting with various stakeholders
- Execute benchmarks, market research, and competitive analysis tailored to Luxembourg’s landscape
- Analyze and map complex business processes, identifying improvement areas and efficiency gains
- Provide support during project discovery phases, and definition of IT solutions to support business functions (Portfolio Management, Sales, Operations, Investment Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Reporting)
- Actively contribute to the design and development of new digital solutions with value-add innovative ideas, including fast prototyping and solution design through innovation workshops (applying Design Thinking principles)
- Functional analysis, business requirements blueprints, user stories writing, and testing (functional, integration) for continuous quality assurance, collaborating within the development teams and with clients’ stakeholders
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams to execute maturity assessments and feasibility studies, gap analyses, delivery of complex digitalization projects, AI adoption/reboot, Sustainability/ESG/Climate risk, data analysis/data modeling, IT infrastructure, and data estates modernization projects
- Continuous interaction with client teams and technology partners to ensure alignment and success of initiatives.
Education and Experience
- Graduate/master’s degree in economics-financial or engineering-management disciplines or equivalent certification
- At least 1-2 years of experience in consulting, fintech, asset management, or an equivalent company, possibly in an international context
- Prior focus on the wealth and asset management and/or insurance area, with knowledge of financial services and products, the Luxembourg market, Fund and Life Insurance Industry, and their regulatory framework (UCITS, AIFMD, CSSF, CAA rules)
- Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in the Wealth & Asset Management sector, ideally within Luxembourg or similar European markets
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications and a solid understanding of data modeling and data management concepts (DBMS, E-R databases)
- Well-developed organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to deal with multiple stakeholders in a cross-functional team
- Experience in data modernization (Data Governance, Architecture, and Engineering), Design Thinking, Agile transformation, Change Management, and Agile tools such as Jira/Confluence/MS DevOps
- Relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master, CBAP) are preferred
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French or German is an asset.
