JOB PURPOSE and RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Warranty Specialist is the owner of the warranty claims and process for specific Customer/s.

He/she is “Customer representative inside FPT” and the “FPT interface with the Customer” for warranty point of view, in particular he/she is the responsible to:


  • Claim assessment: such as warranty terms, data consistency, technical and economical check through FPT SAP warranty System
  • Warranty Fund and Spending monitoring for the assigned Customers
  • Product trend monitoring and detection of the major issues in terms of economic risks, as responsible for the warranty costs of the assigned Customers
  • Support other Functions (Quality, Customer Service) to prepare all material for PIP or Campaign activation and management
  • Quality Issues configuration support by data analysis and mains quality KPI elaboration (F100 / ACPU)
  • Discuss and agree warranty claim (acceptance or not) with the Customers
  • Direct economic negotiation of warranty Claims with the Customers
  • Be the single interface warranty items for FPT Dealers
  • Escalate and report to the management about main open points and roadblock
  • Support the definition of the In Field Warranty Program with FPT Dealers
  • Expose warranty claims to recognize costs for the customer to QPL that have to agree/disagree from a technical point of view
  • Contribute to the budget creation and manage the budget allocated in accordance
  • To contribute in the monitoring of warranty and campaign spending/ budgeting


REQUIREMENTS :

  • Previous consolidated experience (min. 2 years) as Warranty Specialist, Quality specialist or Customer Manager
  • Degree in engineering
  • Experience on Powertrain After Market Business or After Market/Quality Business
  • Experience on international company (European based as primary requirement, Italian appreciated)
  • Proven direct negotiation experience and ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships as well within internal matrix organizations.
  • Proactive and able to act independently and make decisions to solve issues
  • Business fluent Italian and English skills, spoken and written
  • Excellent Knowledge of industrial software (in particular office, excel and wty FPT SAP system are mandatory)
  • Able to elaborate in autonomy the main Quality KPI (F100 & ACPU) and to perform complex data analysis with excel tool starting from claims data.
