Team Leader | Full-Time | Supply Chain and Logistics

The Taranto site is where we have our most proven technologies and will be introducing our most complex new products in the future. As such our team here is working diligently towards ensuring our customers are receiving safe and quality proven products on‑time. Our footprint in Taranto has served Vestas for 25 years and will continue to do so going forward. The logistics department is part of our operations in Taranto and ensures our inbound, receiving, warehousing, delivery internally, planning, outbound delivery, stock counting and our optimal use of all equipment related to this.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the warehouse team to maintain smooth operations and consistent performance.

Encourage a workplace culture that prioritizes safety and quality in every warehouse task.

Perform regular checks to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and outbound activities.

Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counts.

Support staffing plans and team scheduling to maintain smooth operations.

Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.

Implement and sustain 5S and maintain a clean, organized environment.

Demonstrate ability to lead and guide a team effectively.

Possess previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations (supervisory experience).

Have solid working knowledge of MS Office and a high level of familiarity with SAP or WMS.

Exhibit good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

The job position in question corresponds to level B2 pursuant to the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Metalworking Companies (Federmeccanica). The gross annual salary expected for the candidate is a minimum of € 35,994.89, set by the current national and company collective bargaining agreement.
