We are looking for a Warehousing Process Owner. He/She will oversee all warehousing operations, ensuring efficiency, adherence to safety standards and optimization of processes. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in warehousing, logistics and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Define guidelines, best practices and tools for warehousing execution.
- Cascade guidelines and supervise country roll‑out of guidelines, best practices and tools, coordinating local key users.
- Collect feedback to adapt and upgrade guidelines, best practices and tools.
- Identify, develop, and drive process improvement projects across the company to achieve improvements in warehousing execution.
- Study new solutions with existing system or with new technologies.
- Train and supervise deputy local process owners and key users.
- Implement and monitor Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for process improvement and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align warehousing processes with overall logistics strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Technical and Functional Requirements
- SAP Expertise: Mandatory in‑depth knowledge of SAP WM (Warehouse Management), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) modules. Proven experience in participating in SAP WM/MM/EWM implementation, extension, and roll‑out projects. Understanding of the core functionalities within SAP that integrate and feed the warehouse operations.
- Language: Mandatory fluency in English (written and spoken).
Other Requirements
- Travel: The role includes domestic travel to the Italian logistics hub in Vigasio and the plant in Limana, which may account for up to 30% of total travel. Availability for international travel approximately 3–4 times per year, generally not exceeding one week per trip.
