Welding & Logistics Assistant

We are looking for a Welding & Logistics Assistant to join our team at our Parma office.

The selected candidate will collaborate with the Logistics department, the Purchasing office, and the welding teams on site, providing technical and administrative support, managing data and documentation, and coordinating requests related to automated welding systems and dedicated materials.


Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the flow of information between logistics, purchasing, and welding teams by collecting and transmitting technical requests from the sites.

• Support the Purchasing office in preparing quotes and collecting technical data related to components, consumables, and spare parts used in automated welding systems.

• Handle data entry tasks, update ERP systems, and organize technical documentation.

• Prepare technical datasheets, material lists, and documents necessary for procurement procedures.

• Collaborate with the HSE office to manage documentation.

• Monitor the progress of requests and deliveries, collaborating with various departments to ensure constant alignment on the status of supplies.

• Maintain an up-to-date technical archive for welding materials (manuals, datasheets, certifications, reports).

• Interface with internal specialists to verify material compliance and gather technical requirements.

• Provide light operational support when necessary, with availability to participate in practical on-site activities.

• Contribute to technical analysis and cost estimation activities related to welding components, when necessary.


Requirements:

• Some experience (1–3 years) in technical support, logistics, purchasing, or related roles in an industrial environment.

• Interest and inclination towards automated welding systems, mechanical equipment, or the Oil & Gas sector.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing data and documentation.

• Team player with good communication skills, able to collaborate with different departments, including site personnel.

• Knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written; intermediate-advanced level preferred.

• Good familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is considered a plus.

• Willingness to travel for future assignments, including international trips.

• Problem-solving mindset and a strong desire for continuous learning.


LoPlace of work: Parma (PR), with willingness to travel as required.
