The VP of Global Operations at Artemest will lead and optimize all operational functions to support the company’s growth in the luxury design and furniture sector. This individual will ensure that supply chain, production coordination, customer service, and cross-functional processes are seamless, scalable, and aligned with our brand's commitment to excellence, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on in resolving issues, resilient in the face of challenges, and able to transform fragmented processes into seamless systems without compromising the brand’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Management & Vendor Coordination: Work with artisans, production partners, and internal teams to track timelines, resolve delays, and ensure quality. Optimize roles within the order management team to guarantee excellent service and efficient processes. Standardize and improve vendor compliance with Artemest standards. Manage production timelines proactively, identifying risks early and implementing contingency plans. Collaborate with the trade projects team to optimize made-to-order workflows.
- Customer Experience & Service Operations: Oversee post-sale processes to deliver a premium experience. Monitor KPIs like service levels, order accuracy, and resolution times for continuous improvement. Support interior designers, architects, and hospitality clients operationally. Personally resolve VIP client disputes and high-profile installations.
- Operational Strategy & Efficiency: Design and implement operational systems supporting omnichannel and global strategies. Identify inefficiencies and lead improvement projects. Oversee operational readiness for new revenue streams such as branded residences and large developer partnerships. Lead recovery plans when issues threaten key accounts.
- Technology & Tools: Partner with tech teams to ensure robust, scalable operations systems. Implement visibility tools for projects from artisan workshops to installation. Lead digitization projects to enhance traceability and efficiency.
- Supply Chain & Logistics Management: Oversee the entire supply chain for large projects, ensuring smooth, cost-efficient deliveries with white-glove service. Maintain relationships with logistics partners and review performance regularly. Establish feedback loops for continuous improvement in client satisfaction and margins.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Build and lead a high-performing operations team across regions. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Merchandising, and Finance to align goals. Act as a strategic partner to the CEO for global scaling.
