VISUAL SALES ASSISTANT – Milan Store

Join our team as a Visual Sales Assistant , a dynamic role that combines a passion for visual merchandising with excellence in client service. As part of our retail team, you will contribute to creating an inspiring in-store environment while delivering an exceptional shopping experience that reflects the brand's identity and values.

• TERMS: 6 month fixed-term contract (renewable)
• ESTIMATED START DATE: September 2026
• SALARY RANGE: 30k -33k

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission and role

As a Visual Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that every customer experiences an engaging and visually inspiring shopping journey. Your responsibilities will be equally divided between Visual Merchandising and Sales & Store Operations, ensuring that the boutique consistently reflects the highest brand standards.

Visual Merchandising

Store Presentation

• Execute visual merchandising guidelines to create an attractive and commercially effective store environment.
• Curate window displays, mannequins, in-store layouts and product presentations according to seasonal campaigns and brand directives.
• Ensure the boutique always reflects the brand image through impeccable visual standards.

Commercial Visual

• Analyze sales performance and product rotation to optimize merchandising strategies.
• Highlight best-selling products while supporting the visibility of slower-moving categories.
• Continuously refresh product displays to maximize customer engagement and commercial opportunities.

Visual Standards

• Maintain the store in excellent condition throughout the day, ensuring cleanliness, organization and product availability.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager and the team to ensure visual consistency across all store areas.
• Support seasonal floor moves, new product launches and promotional set-ups.

Sales & Store Operations

Client Engagement

• Welcome every customer with professionalism, enthusiasm and genuine hospitality.
• Deliver personalized styling advice by understanding each client's needs, preferences and lifestyle.
• Build long-term customer relationships through outstanding service and brand storytelling.
• Promote cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to maximize customer satisfaction.

Results-Oriented Culture

• Contribute proactively to achieving individual and store sales targets.
• Identify business opportunities by recommending complementary products and complete looks.
• Maintain strong product knowledge, staying updated on new collections and arrivals.

Store Operations

• Manage cash desk activities, including payments, exchanges and returns.
• Support stockroom operations, deliveries, replenishment and inventory management.
• Ensure the sales floor is fully replenished and organized throughout the day.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain operational excellence and an exceptional customer experience.

PROFILE

Previous Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in retail, preferably within fashion, accessories, lifestyle or home décor.
• Previous experience combining sales responsibilities with visual merchandising is considered a strong advantage.

Soft Skills

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent aesthetic sense with a keen eye for detail, colour and product presentation.
• Commercial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
• Flexibility and the ability to balance visual merchandising activities with customer service during peak trading hours.
• Team player with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Availability

• Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and early morning shifts when required for visual set-ups.
