About The Job

We are looking for a Visual Merchandising Manager in Temporary Merchandising who will join the Retail Experience global team based in Milan, directly reporting to the global Head of Visual Merchandising.

How You Will Contribute

  • Lead temporary installations (launches, seasonal activations, etc.) end‑to‑end, from ideation (supported by internal design team or external design agencies) to production/installation in store at global level.
  • Develop the Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines for every activation, ensuring with the Go‑to‑market team that all commercial needs are met.
  • Manage the prototyping & on‑time production of all display materials and tools, in partnership with the production and the purchasing teams.
  • Develop planogram guidelines for temporary visibility location/unit/context, in partnership with global marketing and global go‑to‑market, and ensure/monitor their perfect implementation.
  • Enable & monitor local productions & installations, in close collaboration with local VM teams.

Key Requirements & Competencies

  • University Degree or similar in Visual Arts / Design / Interior Design / Merchandising. Open to business degrees, with demonstrated design skills.
  • Previous experience (2+ years) as Visual Merchandiser / Retail design project manager in the luxury sector; experience in the luxury beauty sector is a plus.
  • Pro‑active and solution‑oriented with demonstrated leadership in projects.
  • Curiosity, creativity, energy and pragmatism are key traits.
  • Ability to create a compelling story while being detail‑oriented in execution.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Mastery of Adobe Suite.
  • Fluent in spoken/written English; Italian fluency/knowledge is a plus.

Additional Information

  • Starting ASAP in a full‑time position (local Italian contract).
  • Salary dependent on experience.
