We have an exciting opportunity for a Visual Communications Coordinator in our London or Milan office.
Who You Are:
Our Communications Coordinator, Visual Merchandising at Michael Kors is fashion forward driven, multi-tasking and collaborative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are a reliable, empowering, supportive team player and an effective communicator, able to deliver consistency in brand vision through the communication of Visual Merchandising tools relevant to all EU customer channels, partnering with Corporate and Field teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the graphic design, production, and communication of all corporate visual floorsets and directives across owned divisions and channels on a monthly and seasonal basis
- Maintain and update the corporate shared visual database with all files saved for team visibility
- Organise the creation, allocation, order, production and implementation of all window vinyl’s, store signage and POS across owned divisions
- Oversee the visual communication calendar and schedule, ensuring all tasks are fulfilled in a timely manager and tracked accordingly
- Incorporate monthly creative ideas from model store launches into all directives, managing last minute feedback and adjustments
- Reinforce global objectives and strategies related to fixtures, props, and product enhancements within all directives
- Partner with Senior Manager and Senior Communications Coordinator to sign off all documents
- Support the Merchandising Team (Buying and Planning) with market buys, delivering seasonal presentations for internal sign off
- Assist, when necessary, with the coordination and set-up of showrooms, market specific projects, such as seasonal concept doors, pop-ups and product trials
- Partner with members of all levels in the organisation, from store teams to vice presidents
- Travel to stores to support installations and gain feedback for directive development
- Responsible for tailoring brand directives to relevant markets
- Deliver innovation projects focused on new display techniques to be used at EU and Global level
What You'll Need to Have:
- 2-3 years of retail experience, creating visual directives or similar
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and the addition of PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proficiency in graphic design with the ability to use various design programmes is ideal
- Intermediate photography skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to interface with internal and external partners
- Ability to travel and work within a team or independently
