VIE - Industrial Controller (Opex & Capex) | ITALY
Join Christian Dior Couture, a leader in luxury fashion, in Florence. The Industrial Controller will manage operative expenses and capital expenditures for the Shoes and Leather Goods business, reporting to the Industrial Controlling Director. This role requires strong financial acumen and a passion for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, standardize, and optimize financial processes across divisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning (3YP/5YP) for CapEx and OpEx.
- Analyze actual vs budget variances, prepare reports and commentary for top management.
- Support investment proposals with robust business cases and ROI analyses.
- Oversee operating costs: electricity, rent, security, cleaning, maintenance, training, fleet, tools.
- Monitor monthly financial analyses to optimize expenses against budget.
- Provide accurate financial reports, ensuring data integrity.
- Address internal audit requirements.
Strategy & Process Improvement
- Monitor project progress against budget; evaluate key parameters.
- Drive efficient management of CapEx and OpEx.
- Ensure compliance with reporting timelines.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve financial processes.
- Serve as proactive business partner to operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or related field; Master’s or professional certification preferred.
- 1‑3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or cost control.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Languages
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in French and/or Italian is advantageous.
