Experteer Overview
In this role, you will lead Mastercard's Specialist Sales SME organization across Western Europe to drive adoption of Mastercard solutions for small and medium enterprises. You will translate regional SME challenges into sales strategies, focusing on working‑capital optimization and supply‑chain finance. You’ll collaborate with product, marketing and market development to deliver value propositions and scalable, outcome‑driven solutions. This position offers impact across multi‑country markets and opportunities to shape SME growth and digital enablement.

- Lead and develop a high‑performing multimarket sales team across Western Europe
- Set and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Mastercard's SME priorities
- Build and sustain senior relationships with financial institutions, fintechs and digital platforms serving SMEs
- Collaborate with SME Product leadership to craft differentiated value propositions addressing SME pain points – working capital, payment delays, digital enablement
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration with product, marketing and market development to deliver scalable, outcome‑focused solutions
- Leverage data‑driven insights to identify growth opportunities and measure sales effectiveness across markets
- Represent Mastercard in senior client discussions and industry forums
Responsabilità
- Extensive experience in financial institutions serving SMEs with proven growth in multicountry environments
- Understanding of SME needs, payment trends and regulatory contexts across Western Europe
- Track record of managing and motivating diverse, high‑performing teams
- Proven ability to build strategic partnerships and engage senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen to craft and deliver compelling client propositions
- Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills; fluent in English; knowledge of an additional European language preferred
- Willingness to travel across European markets
