We are on a mission to deliver customers peace of mind with a trouble-free grocery experience they love and trust. We achieve our growth through a culture that is collaborative, transparent, data-driven and focused on our mission. Job description

The VP of Marketing owns the full customer lifecycle — from acquisition and activation to retention and reactivation — across all paid and organic channels. You will define and operate Italy’s growth model, manage the marketing P&L, and relentlessly improve LTV:CAC, payback, promotions efficiency, and user quality. This role requires building a highly data-driven organization that delivers LTV-optimized growth, reduces CAC, scales high-efficiency traffic, and maximizes retention and order frequency. You will ensure every euro spent drives measurable value and supports sustainable profitability while positioning Everli as Italy’s leading eGrocery service. As a key cross-functional partner to Product, Operations, Data, Finance, Retailer Management, and Leadership, you will align demand growth with supply capacity and unit economics at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Define Italy’s growth model, investment strategy, and channel mix.
  • Own LTV:CAC, payback targets, and overall marketing unit economics.
  • Lead all paid and organic acquisition channels and discover undervalued, high-efficiency traffic opportunities.
  • Drive continuous experimentation to identify arbitrage pockets and scale what's working.
  • Oversee activation, CRM, and retention KPIs to grow cohort LTV and reduce churn.
  • Ensure strong attribution, analytics, reporting, and an incrementality-driven testing culture.
  • Develop predictive models and deep customer insights in partnership with Data/BI.
  • Build and refine user cohorts, behaviors, and drivers to guide acquisition, product decisions, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Align demand with operational and retailer constraints, driving targeted micro-area growth.
  • Partner with Product to improve onboarding, funnels, incentives, and retention mechanics.
  • Collaborate with Retailer teams on co-marketing and retail media initiatives.
  • Lead the marketing & growth team, manage agencies, and uphold a culture of speed, experimentation, and financial discipline while maintaining brand positioning and tone.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the full marketing and growth stack (paid channels, CRM, data tools, attribution, analytics) and able to jump hands-on into execution when needed.
  • Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional marketing or growth teams in fast-scaling consumer, marketplace, or eCommerce businesses.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-channel acquisition (paid social, search, affiliate, display) and advanced lifecycle/CRM strategies.
  • Thinks in systems, connecting the entire growth engine end-to-end: CAC activation retention LTV unit economics supply constraints.
  • Operates independently and proactively identifies what needs to be built or fixed.
  • Fully data-led, comfortable with analytics, dashboards, attribution tools, and performance metrics, and able to challenge and interpret data on their own.
  • Proven track record of owning a full growth funnel at scale and managing significant marketing budgets with strict ROI/CAC/payback accountability.
  • Prior experience collaborating closely with Product, Data/BI, and Operations teams to drive growth initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Fluency in English and Italian with strong communication and leadership skills.
