Vice President Marketing and Communication – Sandvik Coromant
As Vice President Marketing and Communication you report directly to the President and provide strategic direction and hands‑on leadership for Sandvik Coromant’s global marketing, communication and brand agenda, ensuring a unified and impactful approach across all customer and employee touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Lead a global multidisciplinary organization of +70 people covering brand strategy, demand marketing, content and channels, internal communication, media, external relations, and digital go‑to‑market transformation.
- Translate business strategy into customer‑centric, data‑driven, and measurable outcomes in collaboration with Sales, Product & Solutions Management, IT and Group functions.
- Drive the digital transformation of go‑to‑market, including development of the website in partnership with Information Technology.
- Accountable for media relations, reputation management, and change and crisis communication, supporting leadership through change.
- Balance a yearly communication plan with timely responses to organizational needs, especially during change and urgent matters.
- Contribute to the overall Machining communications strategy and governance, driving cross‑divisional priorities and synergies.
- Develop site management responsibilities for Sandvik Coromant headquarters in Sandviken, ensuring a safe, engaging and well‑functioning workplace.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing global leadership team, building strong capabilities, engagement and trust.
- Manage global travel and work flexibly within Europe.
Qualifications
- More than 15 years of senior leadership experience in marketing, communication, brand and go‑to‑market in a global industrial or B2B context.
- Strong strategic perspective with the ability to execute and deliver results in a complex, global environment.
- Ability to communicate with clarity and impact at an executive level, with a customer‑centric, data‑driven and digitally curious mindset.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or a related field.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
- Interest in technology and digital development, ability to navigate complexity and prioritize high‑value initiatives.

Customer Service Representative – Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions
Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions (SRP), a Sandvik Group business area, is a global leader in equipment, tools and service solutions for the mining and construction industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate responses.
- Build strong customer relationships as part of the sales and account team.
- Assess customer needs and route complex issues to the appropriate internal resources.
- Take ownership of customer concerns and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
- Proactively communicate order updates, backlog issues and other relevant information.
- Process sales orders via phone, email and e‑business platforms.
- Manage urgent and expedited orders to meet customer delivery timelines.
- Support aftermarket sales activities, including quoting, supplier coordination, delivery scheduling and invoicing.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to support cash collection.
- Initiate proactive outreach to identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Support outside sales with quotations, technical assessments, pricing inputs and preparation for key account meetings.
- Develop and maintain product forecasts, demand planning inputs and sales documentation.
- Provide business intelligence on market trends, competitive activity and customer behaviors.
- Support continuous improvement of Salesforce usage and digital sales channels.
- Utilize internal tools to fulfill customer requirements and maintain accurate backorder reports.
- Coordinate freight quotes, arrange shipments and obtain proof of delivery.
- Prepare monthly CSR reports and support key account managers with quotes, availability, forecasting and technical requests.
- Assess technical compatibility of components and build product knowledge to support consultative customer discussions.
- Demonstrate commitment to Sandvik’s safety‑first culture and comply with EHS training and safety protocols.
- Work effectively in virtual and in‑office environments, engaging actively in team communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, college diploma or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of customer service experience.
- Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
- High degree of personal accountability and follow‑up skills.
- Computer proficiency, mechanical aptitude and ability to work as part of a virtual team.
