Lets talk about the job
Your mission in this role is to secure growth and drive market share globally through strategic and operational sales leadership. You lead a global sales team of around 400 people across four regions including Sales Operations and work closely with Sales Area Directors to adapt strategies locally.
Key responsibilities
- Developing and implementing global sales strategies aligned with our business goals.
- Driving digital transformation in customer engagement and sales operations.
- Strengthening collaboration across divisions within the Machining business area and actively representing Dormer Pramet in key decision-making forums.
- Leading customer segmentation initiatives and ensuring our sales efforts are targeted and effective.
You take full responsibility for Dormer Pramets global sales results ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives and KPIs monitoring performance and refining strategies when needed. You also play an active role in pricing product mix and brand portfolio decisions while advocating sustainability as a natural part of our business.
This position reports directly to the President of Dormer Pramet and is part of our Management Team. The location is flexible with a preference for being based in Europe. International travel is a natural part of the role.
And what about you
You bring extensive experience in sales and metal cutting along with broad industrial knowledge and a strong understanding of our products and markets. Youve successfully led international sales organizations and know how to drive performance through clear KPIs customer segmentation and strategic pricing decisions. Youre comfortable working close to the market and have a hands‑on approach to leadership. Your ability to leverage digital tools and transform customer engagement and sales operations is key and you hold a university degree in engineering or a commercial field. Fluent English both spoken and written is a must.
