On behalf of our Client, Boehringer Animal Health, IQVIA is looking for a Pharmacy Field Sales Representative who can join an exciting working environment in a dynamic atmosphere.
The selected candidate will be responsible for promoting Boehringer Animal Health products within the pharmacy channel, ensuring strong relationships with clients, and driving sales performance in the assigned territory.
Working area: Veneto
Residence: Verona or Mantova
Basic purpose of the job
- It builds and fosters strong customer relationships within its territory.
- Achieves sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Follows business strategies to maximize performance within the assigned territory.
- The sales representative works mainly with pharmacist, to understand the needs/drivers, build customer value, and maintain, create, or strengthen the business partnership.
Accountabilities
- Increase the company's market share and achieve sales results within a particular territory.
- Maintain a high level of customer engagement in promoting the company, its products, and its activities at all levels within the market.
- Adheres to communication needs and effectively manages the assigned territory through follow-ups with customers and partners in a timely manner.
- Identify decision-makers and influencers within accounts/pharmacies and develop the right partnership with them ensuring a high level of support and promotion of Company products.
- Monitor trends in the market assigned to the territory, competitor products and customer needs to identify new opportunities and business objectives. Shares information related to the market, competitor activities, and customer feedback on products and promotions to relevant peers.
- Active impact in pharmacy: by training pharmacists, negotiate promotion, collecting orders and implementing agreed activities
- Collect feedback and insights to understand customer preferences and latest market trends
- Participate in industry events, fairs and conferences to network with potential customers and stay updated on industry trends
- Keeps account/customer/information data in CRM.
- Share learning/insights with team members, managers, and cross-functional partners. Identifies business opportunities and together with his manager.
Regulatory and / or Organizational Requirements
- Comply with Italian low requirements, MOH and regulatory procedures, rules and regulations concerning health and safety. Proper use of work equipment, substances, and preparations as well as collective and personal protective equipment according to the instructions received. Promptly report to their superior any dangerous condition of which they become aware. Company Ethical code and SOP, AISA ethical code.
Job Complexity
- Responsible for several clients, and accounts within a given geographic area, the position requires effective sales and customer management skills, time management, task prioritization, and business acumen, as well as ongoing mobility across the territory.
- Use the Company AH sales model to engage customers, understand needs, create value, and advance sales by positioning products based on the action plan and customer insights. Promotes a positive working relationship with individual clients and accounts/clinics. Leverage multichannel marketing tools and resources with targeted/segmented customers.

Job Expertise
- Demonstrate expertise in providing product information to customers about Company products to optimize animal care.
- Knowledge of the pharmacy channel is a must. The knowledge of the animal health industry and species-specific sector is critical, including business acumen to better understand competitive products.
- Experience in customer engagement and sales skills centered on a consultative approach to the customer.
Minimum Education/Degree Requirements
- Vet/Scientific degree preferred, economics knowledge is a must.
Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales/scientific information, pharmacy field, and customer management, preferably in the animal health or FMCG sector.
- Business Planning account management and customer prioritization capabilities
- Strong presentation skills including oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
- Analytical skills
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Well-developed sales and negotiation skills
- Possibility to travel (overnight stays required)
- Must possess a valid driver's license (based on the location of the assigned territory)
- Must reside within the assigned geographic territory.
- Fluent Italian, English is a plus
