Innovation, continuous research, digitalization, and sustainability are the pillars of its business worldwide.Within the **Aircraft Technologies & Systems** Unit, we are looking for a **Software Designer with High Associated Criticality** for our office in **Turin / Venegono Superiore (VA)**.The resource will carry out all software discipline activities within the Aircraft Technologies & Systems operating unit of the Aircraft Division, for aspects related to the design, development, verification, and qualification and/or certification of software for (on-board) aircraft control systems.Specifically, the resource will:* Support the team leader in defining architectures (partitioning and/or libraries) proposing highly modular solutions that facilitate portability to hardware and interchangeability according to customer needs. Essential will be the study and application of reference regulations (e.G., RTCA/DO-178C, DO-331) and best practices, in both military and civil contexts, for the design, development, and verification of the aforementioned software systems.* Analyze system specifications to achieve a software implementation, defining requirements according to Model-Based methodologies with the support of tools based on the SysML language rather than Mathworks Simulink/Stateflow solutions. Design it and from it obtain source and object code.* Collaborate with resources allocated to testing activities in order to consider verification needs during implementation (e.G., data accessibility) for both host environment verifications (simulations on Personal Computer) and target environment verifications (processing board and/or Flight Control Computer type apparatus).* Manage assigned activities, in accordance with company provisions, estimating the duration for each, verifying progress, and keeping metrics under control with particular attention to CPI (Cost Performance Index) and SPI (Schedule Performance Index).* Comment and/or review project documentation produced by an independent party, formalizing the outcomes through specific documentation (peer review).* Contribute to the analysis of problems encountered during testing and review and management of related configuration changes.* Support other company departments (system, software quality, software configuration, software certification, software safety, airworthiness, V&V, etc.) in achieving product qualification and/or certifiability.**Educational Qualification:** Three-year or Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Information Sciences/Electronic Engineering/Automation Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering.**Seniority:** Junior**Technical knowledge and skills:*** Knowledge of programming languages (mainly C language).* Knowledge of development and compilation environments for microcontrollers.* Knowledge of modeling languages such as SysML/UML is desirable.* Knowledge of modeling tools belonging to the Mathworks suite is desirable.**Behavioral skills:*** Proactive, empathetic person, with the ability to interface with other company figures and to coordinate a project and/or manage a small team.* Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work under stress.**Language skills:**Good knowledge of written and spoken English.**IT knowledge:*** Programming languages (mainly C, with Ada and .NET as a plus)* Mathworks Suite, tools like Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow and related coders* Compilation and debugging systems.**Other:**Availability for national and international travel.Working with us, you will constantly face the challenges of high technology, enhance your skills, and build a professional path of excellence.**Seniority:** Junior**Primary Location:** IT - Torino - C.So Francia**Additional Locations:** IT - Venegono Superiore**Contract Type:** Permanent**Hybrid Working:** IbridoQuesta opportunità è disponibile nelle seguenti città: Torino, Venegono Superiore.
