Innovation, continuous research, digitalization, and sustainability are the pillars of its business worldwide.Within the **Aeronautics Division**, in the Aircraft B.U., in the engineering department, in the organizational unit: "**Simulation, Ground Support Equipment & Training System (SG&TS)**”, unit “Eurofighter GBTS & Simulators", we are looking for a **Modeling and Simulation Avionic specialist** for the Turin C.So Francia office.The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:* Study and analysis of high-level requirements* Definition of subsystem avionics requirements* Definition, development, and integration of software avionics simulation models* Preparation of test and qualification documentation* Preparation of acceptance procedures* System-level integration tests* Support for formal acceptance activities with the customer* Development of test environments* Interface with other engineering units involved in the development of the real aircraft, particularly with the avionic systems function.* Interface with pilots and customers for aspects related to avionic systemsThe position involves interaction with other units within the SG&TS area, and with other company functions (Airvehicle, Avionics, Safety, Airworthiness, Flight Operations, Software Certification, Quality assurance, Configuration and Cyber Security) as well as with external suppliers.**Education:**Degree in Physics / STEM**Experience Level*** Senior (>
5 years)**Technical Skills:*** Multi-year experience in the development and integration of avionics software for military flight simulators* Excellent knowledge of the avionics architecture and subsystems of the Eurofighter aircraft, with particular reference to MDLR, NAV, CSG systems* Knowledge of the SynAPSIS Framework* Knowledge of aeronautical systems* Ability to read and write hardware and software requirements and electrical and functional diagrams;
* Ability to read and write architectural documentation for integrated hardware and software systems;
* Preparation of test procedures and test reports;
* Knowledge of the MIL1553 digital bus in the aerospace field* Excellent ability to understand, develop, and modify complex software code.**IT Skills:*** Proven development skills in the following programming languages and environments: C/C++, ADA, GDB, Python* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
* Knowledge of the DOORSenvironment for requirements management;
