Mission:

As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a Vehicle System Engineer - Railway sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.


What is the challenge?

The candidate will be responsible for analysing vehicle functions and their allocation to on-board systems and subsystems, ensuring consistency between requirements, functional architecture and physical architecture of the train.


  • Definition and management of train and vehicle architecture, both functional and physical, including function allocation to subsystems (traction, braking, doors, HVAC, auxiliary systems).
  • System requirements and interface management (functional, electrical, and communication), including integration with the TCMS.
  • Support to system integration activities, anomaly analysis, and assessment of the technical impact of design changes.
  • Support to vehicle verification and validation phases, including integration and functional testing, in compliance with railway regulations.


Technical skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Railway field or a related sector.
  • Good knowledge of IBM DOORS .
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
