PRIMARY FUNCTION
Ensure the elicitation and the proper addressing of vehicle functional requirements by applying Requirements Engineering & MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) principles to guarantee robust systems design, integration and optimization phases
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand stakeholder requirements
- Analyze, decompose and detail all activities required to satisfy a given program content
- Realize Functional Requirements Engineering roll-out applying Systems Engineering principles
- Realize Functional Analysis via MBSE methodologies and modeling (SysML)
- Functional requirements elicitation and allocation
- Functional requirements database management
- Ensure a consistent approach to logical development toward stakeholder requirements
- Harmonize during the development phase technical solutions with stakeholder requirements
- Ensure support to the internal program activities
- Perform/analyze functional benchmarking
- Implement guidelines, share lessons learned and best practices across programs
- Act across internal program stakeholders (Homologation/Regulation, PTF, Manufacturing, Service, Quality…), Development Teams (e.g. E/E system & component development team), Vehicle Integration Responsible, Chief Engineers (E.g. Validation, Programs), Product Validation team, Architecture Teams (Vehicle & E/E), FuSa & Cyber Security Teams, Advanced Engineering, Process & Method Team, Vehicle Benchmarking Team, Design Release Engineering
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of Requirements Management
- Working knowledge of System Engineering principles
- Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering
- Working knowledge of complex systems (preferably passenger car and/or commercial vehicles systems)
- Working knowledge of Vehicle Integration processes/testing
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Strong team driving and collaboration skills
- Self-managed/directed
DIGITAL SKILLS
- Experience in using requirements management tools (preferably Polarion)
- Experience in using Model Based Systems Engineering tools (preferably IBM Rhapsody)
- Experience in using Matlab/Simulink
- Expert in Microsoft Office
EDUCATION
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering
