The role:
We are looking for a Vehicle Engineer to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting to the Head of Testing Management & Vehicle Physics.
You will be responsible to steer the developing phase according to Milestone performance including the updates of the vehicle fleet and will support the entire vehicle development activities, to achieve car performance targets. Moreover, you will be responsible for the whole vehicle attribute achievement and for performance engineering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the car configuration according to its mission within the DVP
- Lead testing activities and planning, cars configuration for all testing activities, prioritization according to DVP
- Timing and milestone achievement according to DVP
- Address and monitor KPM analysis from related testing and first‑level diagnosis
- Whole vehicle attributes achievement & Lambo DNA for the specific model line
- Performance achievement as performance engineer during concept phase, product development and supporting after SOP press performance test to insure to respect target
- Testing activities on car, in compliance with Company Policies:
- Drive and evaluate vehicles before and during technical drives and for press activities
- Perform standard and special test in car, high speed tests and dynamic tests based upon request
About you:
- Technical university degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in car testing, fleet management and technical analysis/diagnosis in automotive OEMs / Tier1 suppliers
- Systems engineering / vehicle development knowledge
- Matlab/Simulink
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, components and tools
- Knowledge of data analysis, post‑processing methodologies
- English mandatory; Italian and German as a plus
