PRIMARY FUNCTION
Ensures that all Verification & Validation activities (functional and non-functional tests) within the
project are strategically planned, consistently executed, and comprehensively reported,
guaranteeing that the Vehicle meets stakeholder expectation.
Leading the Validation Teams, applies industry knowledge and experience to manage the Design Validation Plan of the assigned program within her/his organization.
She/He works in collaboration with all the sub-departments within T&D and Tier 1 Suppliers to collect specifications of new development and to build Validation Plan.
Finally, he is responsible for granting that the required validation is completed according to the planned milestones and the approved budget.

CORE OUTCOMES
Design Validation Plan
- Create for each vehicle system, function and feature, a comprehensive integrated validation plan from component and system level up to vehicle tests, in collaboration with SIRs (System Integration Responsibles), Function Owners, VIR (Vehicle Integration Responsible), Performance Engineers and all the relevant technical specialists in Validation & Homologation team.
- Consolidate the complete project validation plan, schedule and budget at vehicle level, building the DVP (Design Validation Plan) according to the deliverables required by the established Company product development process. Parts of the DVP are human resources, test vehicles and methods (targets, logging devices, data storage and analysis).
Project validation Management
- Be the primary technical interface for the complete Validation Process versus the Project team.
- Communicate program status, risks and issues in an appropriate and timely manner. Ensure regular and timely communication between Validation Team members.
- Manage the Project validation phases in compliance with the Company product development process, promptly applying any needed adjustment to the plan to cope with actual proto vehicles availability and test results. xdwybme
- Ensure that the prototypes are built in time and with the appropriate HW and SW maturity in relation to the planned validation activities, both for functional and durability validation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic or Automotive Engineering
- Experience: 3-5 years minimum
- Language skills: English Fluent
- Digital skills: MS Office mandatory
- Travel requirements: Availability of approximately 6 travels per year (one week each)
