Responsibilities
Within the Global Markets team, the Foreign Exchange sales desk covers the Italian corporates, bank, insurance and asset manager clients for the global currencies suite of products. Supported by extensive research, trading and e-commerce capabilities, we offer advice, strategy, flow information, competitive pricing and execution to our clients. The candidate will have great exposure internally and externally and will be part of a widely recognized team and work closely with professionals in the financial market industry.
Management of the daily administrative tasks inherent to the Sales activity
Assist sales in client on-boarding
Research on market and clients, including financial analysis of corporates
Write daily newsletters about FX, market news, economic notes etc.
Analyze data around client FX trade activity (Revenues/Volumes/Hit Ratio)
Pricing of Interest Rates and FX derivative products and strategies
Preparation of commercial proposals to Clients

Additional Information A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.
It is mandatory to provide us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document. Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship. To facilitate the examination of your application by our English‑speaking managers, we thank you for applying in English.
Studies & Experience
Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Economics
A previous experience is a plus, especially in Financial institutions
Language Skills
Fluent in English is required; proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or German is strongly preferred.
Technical, operational & soft skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Proficient/Good command of MS Office
The knowledge of Bloomberg is appreciated
VIE assignment in a nutshell This VIE in
Milan
is to begin
as soon as possible , but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last
12 months . The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
