Freename is a fast-growing Swiss tech company operating at the intersection of domains, digital identity, and AI infrastructure. We’re building the next evolution of domain-tech products, and we’re expanding our Product team with a highly structured, analytical and AI-driven designer.
About the Role
As UX/UI Product Designer , you will design and optimize end-to-end user experiences across our core digital products. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to translate business goals into intuitive, scalable, and high-performing user journeys.
This role requires a modern designer who actively integrates AI tools into their workflow — from research and ideation to prototyping and validation. We are looking for someone who moves fast, thinks in systems, and understands product impact beyond visual aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
Product & UX Strategy
● Design end-to-end user experiences, from research and discovery to final UI execution.
● Translate business and product requirements into scalable flows and intuitive interfaces.
● Optimize activation, retention, and conversion across key product funnels.
UI & Design Systems
● Create high-quality, consistent interfaces aligned with brand positioning.
● Build and maintain structured design systems and reusable component libraries.
● Ensure visual and interaction consistency across web apps and dashboards.
AI-Driven Design Workflow
● Leverage AI tools to accelerate wireframing, prototyping, research, and iteration.
● Use AI for UX copy refinement, user flow generation, asset exploration, and rapid testing.
● Continuously experiment with emerging AI design tools and workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to validate solutions before development.
● Participate in product discovery sessions and roadmap discussions.
● Support go-to-market initiatives with user-centered design inputs.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
● 4+ years of experience as UX/UI or Product Designer in tech environments.
● Strong portfolio demonstrating structured UX thinking and high-quality UI execution.
● Experience designing SaaS platforms, dashboards, or complex web applications.
● Proven experience integrating AI tools into the design workflow.
● Solid understanding of usability principles, user research, and product metrics.
● Ability to move from concept to validated prototype quickly.
AI Tools Experience (Examples)
● Figma (including AI plugins and advanced prototyping)
● Framer AI
● ChatGPT or Claude (for UX flows, ideation, and copy refinement)
● Midjourney, DALL·E or Stable Diffusion (for visual exploration)
● Runway or similar tools for rapid visual experimentation
● AI-based UX research tools (e.g., Maze AI insights, Hotjar AI)
