Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Utility Distribution Design Specialist role located in the San Angelo area. The role includes developing and designing utility distribution projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Responsibilities include creating design plans, field inspections, coordinating with stakeholders, project delivery timelines, and resolving technical issues to support the successful implementation of energy solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in utility distribution design, project planning, and understanding of technical drawings
  • Experience with engineering and design software tools such as AutoCAD or GIS platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for assessing project requirements and developing solutions
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and utility infrastructure, including industry codes and standards
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and ensure timely completion
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in energy efficiency or utility design projects is a plus
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to occupational health and safety standards
