Utilities Maintenance Technician

The resource will be part of our Technical Services department as Utilities Maintenance Technician and focusing on the following activities :

• Operate simple and complex utility systems that support the production process, working simultaneously and in an integrated manner, using software-based control systems and programmed logic for continuous process monitoring;
• Monitor system efficiency by checking the performance of each system and analyzing process parameter trends, with particular attention to parameters critical for GMP activities;
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in utility systems, including pharmaceutical water and pure steam systems, compressed air systems, thermal systems (such as power plants and chiller plants), complex HVAC systems, closed-loop fluid systems, thermostatic systems, technical gas distribution systems, and industrial wastewater systems;
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all assigned utility systems;
• Implement technical improvements and optimizations on the systems under responsibility;
• Use the supervision and control systems to ensure correct operation and to support any extraordinary maintenance activities;
• Work in collaboration with mechanical and electrical maintenance teams for system modifications and upgrades;
• Verify proper system operation in compliance with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements :

• Technical diploma
• Knowledge of plant operating systems (air, water, steam, etc.)
• Experience in plant maintenance and operation, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
