Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer with expertise in UX/UI design to lead the development of an intuitive and visually engaging knowledge base within Frontify . This role combines technical proficiency with user-centered design principles to create a seamless experience for internal teams and external stakeholders accessing brand and service documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Develop Knowledge Base: Maintain a structured, user-friendly knowledge base in Frontify, ensuring content is easy to navigate and visually aligned with brand guidelines.
  • UX/UI Optimization: Apply best practices in UX/UI to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user experience for the knowledge base platform.
  • Frontify Configuration & Customization: Configure Frontify modules, templates, and integrations to support dynamic content and scalable architecture.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, brand managers, and IT teams to ensure accurate and consistent information delivery. Closing gaps where processes do not align between departments.
  • Governance & Compliance: Actively communicate with and push collaborators to keep content updated and accurate, enforcing standards to maintain the platform as the Single Source of Truth.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and implement improvements to optimize performance and engagement.
  • Documentation & Training: Create guidelines and provide training for internal teams on how to use and update the knowledge base effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Frontify platform configuration and integration.
  • UX/UI Design Skills: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, wireframing, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
  • Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML/CSS and responsive design principles.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret user feedback and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Security Awareness: Understanding of access control, permission mapping, and data governance best practices.
  • Communication: Excellent collaboration and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in building knowledge bases or digital asset management systems.
  • Background in customer experience or brand management environments.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.


Contract & Logistics

  • Contract: 12-month fixed-term full-time contract with significant potential for extension or permanent conversion based on performance and project evolution.
  • Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
  • Location : Milan office with required availability to travel to Iceland for workshops and team sprints.
  • Start Date: We aim to start as soon as possible but are happy to accommodate a standard notice period for the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluent English is a must; you will be communicating daily with international stakeholders.
