The MATLAB Student Ambassador position requires a commitment of 5 hours per week and involves:

  • Exploring and implementing creative ideas to spread awareness of the MathWorks brand and products among students
  • Identifying and engaging with prominent student organizations related to Engineering, Math, Science, and Finance
  • Planning and organizing campus events to demonstrate MATLAB and Simulink
  • Using social media and university communication channels to promote MathWorks Student Challenges and learning resources
  • Promoting MathWorks at university career fairs, info sessions, and recruiting events

Responsibilities

The role requires hosting campus events with resources like demos and hardware, and promoting products via social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree

Additional Qualifications

  • Proficient in MATLAB; familiarity with Simulink is a plus
  • Pursuing PhD is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and social media skills
  • Good academic standing with at least 2 semesters remaining (preferably in Engineering)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management and multitasking abilities
  • Legal authorization to work in Italy
