Within the Insurance Office Department (CINSO), reporting directly to the Underwriting Manager, we are looking for an Underwriter Analyst who will be responsible for managing insurance product quotation requests and service contracts, collaborating on the creation of new insurance products, and monitoring the technical performance of products.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage requests for quotation of insurance products and service contracts, assessing the scope of guarantees and related pricing following the company a1s underwriting policies
  • Participate in the process of setting up and evaluating new individual insurance products, in collaboration with other business areas
  • Evaluate the technical performance of insurance and service products in the portfolio and define any corrective actions to maintain portfolio profitability, in collaboration with Governance and Control structures
  • Collaborate with the Terms & Conditions structure to offer advice and guidance on the drafting of new policy texts, as well as the revision of existing policy texts
  • Participate in business development activities and initiatives, providing support to company lines of business both in negotiations and through training activities

You will relate to various corporate structures (Sales & Marketing, Legal Office, Contract Portfolio Management, Claims Department, etc.) involved in both the sales process and the pre- and post-sales phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or statistics disciplines
  • At least three years of experience with Insurance Companies or Brokers in a property & casualty underwriter role
  • Analytical, organized, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Office package
