What you’ll do:

• Join the Interaction Design Gaming and Cross - Design System team, contributing to the creation, evolution, and governance of a scalable, efficient, and high-quality multibrand and multicountry Design System.
• Lead the design, implementation, and documentation of UI components, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across digital products.
• Work closely with web and app development teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the Design System, aligning with frontend frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Kotlin, Swift, Adobe AEM).
• Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, and brand teams to balance usability, accessibility, and brand identity in the Design System.
• Translate design needs into technical requirements, understanding development constraints to optimize UI solutions.
• Provide guidance and governance on using the Design System, supporting organization-wide adoption.
• Advocate for best practices in accessibility, usability, and design scalability.
• Engage with stakeholders from business, marketing, and management, effectively communicating the value of the Design System.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in UI design, design systems, and frontend development.

Who you are:

• At least 3-4 years of experience in structured environments, focusing on Design System creation and implementation.
• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining Design Systems, with understanding of both design and technical aspects.
• Strong expertise with tools such as Figma, Storybook, ZeroHeight or similar.
• Proficient in UI design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and usability best practices.
• Technical knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, design tokens, component libraries).
• Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic and proactive, capable of managing priorities and advocating for the Design System.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.

Preferably, you also have:

• Experience with multi-brand, multi-country Design Systems.
• Knowledge of component-driven development and atomic design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Slack, ServiceNow).
• Experience conducting training or workshops on Design System adoption.
