Travel Director

Hands‑on, execution‑focused role responsible for building and delivering the Relocate Experience in Italy (Florence/Tuscany).

You will lead supplier sourcing, budgeting, cost projections, and full operational execution of each experience. This is not a traditional tour operator role — this is about turning a concept into a scalable, high‑quality product.

You will work directly with the founder.

Responsibilities

• Source, vet, and manage local partners (accommodation, transport, experiences, professional services)
• Build detailed budgets and cost projections for each experience
• Negotiate supplier pricing and manage margins
• Design and coordinate 5–7 day itineraries (Florence + Tuscany)
• Oversee end‑to‑end execution of each cohort on the ground
• Manage reservations, schedules, and logistics across all touchpoints
• Act as the primary point of contact during live experiences
• Troubleshoot in real time to ensure a seamless client experience
• Build operational workflows and processes to support scale

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in operations, travel, hospitality, or event management
• Strong experience in budgeting, cost management, and supplier negotiations
• Proven ability to execute complex, multi‑day experiences or programs
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Fluent in English (Italian strongly preferred)
• Based in Italy (Florence/Tuscany preferred)
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑moving environment
• Exposure to international clients (especially U.S.-based)
• Experience launching or scaling a new product or service
