The Role
The primary responsibility of the Transport Project Coordinator is to support the Transportation team in operational planning, readiness, and operations. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring project cadence and functional area integration.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Team Support: Assist the Transportation team with operational planning, documentation, deliverables, and reporting.
- Project Planning and Monitoring: Support project timelines, milestones, and adjust plans as necessary.
- Project Governance: Maintain project documentation, prepare reports for management.
- Documentation Management: Organize project files and prepare status updates.
- Cross-business Collaboration: Facilitate alignment across teams and improve processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders for requirements and updates.
- Continuous Improvement: Support process enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identify and help mitigate project risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field; PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office; experience with AirTable is advantageous.
- Experience with international or major sporting events is highly valued.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Italian and English.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak phases.
