Transport & Logistics Expert – Business and Investment Climate Reforms
NTU International is preparing a proposal for the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) Facility , which supports partner countries in improving business environments and unlocking sustainable private investment.
The Facility delivers demand-driven technical assistance to governments and stakeholders to design and implement investment climate reforms and promote inclusive economic growth.
We are creating a pool of Transport & Logistics Experts for this project. Experts in this pool will be contacted for specific assignments as they arise. If you have relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support reforms in transport and logistics systems
- Identify infrastructure and regulatory bottlenecks
- Advise on policies improving trade corridors and connectivity
- Contribute to investment-related transport strategies
Requirements:
Education
- Master’s degree in transport, logistics, economics, or related field
General Professional Experience
- Minimum 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice to governments
Specific Professional Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business and investment climate reforms
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in transport and logistics
Development Cooperation Experience
- Minimum 5 years in development cooperation projects
Languages
- English (C1 mandatory)
- Knowledge of French or Spanish (C1)
