What you will do


As a Transport Data Scientist Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain a 360° view of the supply chain, working on end-to-end analytical processes in a dynamic and agile environment. You will progressively take ownership of your activities and manage your daily workload with increasing autonomy, while being supported by your manager and the team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the manager in understanding business dynamics, demand planning, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Work with data systems, business reporting, and KPIs, with exposure to data science and analytics topics.
  • Build and automate data pipelines for bottom-up freight-out data extraction across multiple markets and business units.
  • Contribute to improving the accuracy of freight-out allocation models.
  • Produce actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to support decision-making in supply chain, transportation, and Direct-to-Dealer (D2D) operations.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders, including local branches, demand planning teams, shipping departments, and HQ functions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to freight-out calculations, KPI tracking, and reporting automation.
  • Perform end-to-end data analytics tasks (data exploration, cleaning, modeling, and visualization) to support supply chain digitalization and daily reporting.


What you need to succeed

  • Student or recent graduate in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, or similar fields.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Italian.
  • Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis (academic or personal projects are sufficient).
  • Interest in data analysis, supply chain, and analytics.
  • Strong analytical mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.



We offer an initial 6 months paid internship

800 euro, company computer, ticket meals, smart working.
