Transport Coordinator

The Transport Coordinator reporting to the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for transport coordination and its team.

Main Responsibilities

• Executionofinboundandoutboundflowswithourtransportvendors.
• Executionofintake,outtake(pick/pack)flowswithour3PLwarehouses.
• Complaintsmanagementwithourlogisticsserviceproviders.
• Advice(spot)quotes,requestandadministratespotquotes.
• Executebookingstowardslogisticserviceprovidersoninbound,outboundflowsandintake/outtakeflows.
• Administrativebookingstowardslogisticserviceprovidersoninbound,outboundflowsandintake/outtakeflowsviaourSAPandTMS(TransportManagementSystem)system.
• Pro-activecoordinationofdaytodaylogisticsresponsibilitiesinternalandexternal.
• Firstpointofcontactfor3rdpartyserviceprovideronbehalfofUnivarSolutions.
• BeawareandmakeuseoftheservicedealsagreedwithUnivarSolutions’logisticsserviceproviders.
• Managerecruitinganddevelopmentofteam.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• Master’sdegreeinengineering/Logistics-SupplyChainManagementorsimilar.

• Accurateanddiligentindatainputandprocessing.
• Abletotakecontrolofsituationsanddriveforsolutions.
• Stressresilientandabletocreatestructureforthemselveswithlimitedguidance.
• Adaptableandflexibleattitude.
• Teamplayer.
• Relevantworkingexperienceandknowledgein(chemical)logisticsoperations(transportandwarehouses).
• SAP,TMS(transportmanagementsystem),Datavisualizationandbusinessintelligencetoolexperiencewillbetakenintoconsideration.
• FluentlevelofEnglish(writtenandspoken).
• Drivequalityandcostefficiency(alwaysgoforthebestandcostreducingsolution).
• ProcessanddrivecomplaintssolutionsperKPI’sandviaSAPcomplaintsmanagement.
• CompliancetoallCompanyprocedures(quality,safetyandenvironmentalones),andlegislativerequirements.
