Transformation & OpEx senior manager -API Site in Italy

For one of our big pharma clients, we are recruiting a Senior Manager for Operational Excellence, ​for Italy (……).

As a member of t he Site Leadership team, the  “Transformation Operational Excellence Senior manager ” is a major change leader  and transformation guide – mentor for the SLT.  

This new role is crucial for supporting the Managing Director in establishing a positive 'can-do' culture on the site. 

Role:    

• Drive the holistic transformation of the organization by shaping long term efficiency strategies, identifying structural cost-reduction opportunities, evaluating workforce allocation across all departments, and embedding Lean manufacturing principles to significantly enhance RightFirstTime (RFT) performance.  
• Establishing a continuous improvement culture across the site. 
• Coordinating and reporting on the efficiency at site level from planning to implementation  
• Partnering with and challenging senior leadership within the organization. 
• Participating in the development of the site strategic performance plan and annual priorities and implement it. 

 Candidate : 

- Italian native (or Native level speaker) and Excellent  professional English 

- Previous experience of a minimum of 5 years as an Operational Excellence Snr Manager or Director .  

- Lean expert with deep experience of Kaizen approach and Mini-Transformation methodologies (focused on simultaneous changes to processes, governance and people mindsets & capabilities)  

- An active listener who is always eager to learn. 

- Able to relocate near the site to ensure  full time presence. 

 The ideal candidate:  

• Expert background in applied LEAN principles and Change Management in industrial production site in any of those regulated industries: Chemical / Pharma / Food & Beverages. 
• Over 10 years of experience in applying lean transformation approach with demonstrated successes and learning through the journey  
• Hands on coaching and mentoring of teams on the ground  
• Comes from companies with award winning Operational excellence deployment models 
• Able to work collaboratively and contribute and engage positively the team.
