Experteer Overview

As a Transactional Risk Broker in Marsh PEMA, you support M&A transactions by structuring and placing risk insurance solutions for Italian deals. You act as a strategic advisor to PE firms, corporates, and law firms, coordinating the underwriting process and negotiations with the insurance market. You will build cross‑border relationships to fuel growth in the M&A insurance business and collaborate with colleagues to deliver end‑to‑end coverage. This role combines legal insight with deal execution in a leading, global firm.

Retribuzione / Benefits

  • Structure and place Transactional Risk Insurance solutions (Warranty & Indemnity, contingent liability, Litigation Buy Out, Environmental M&A) and manage direct negotiations with the market
  • Handle the underwriting process for Italian deals including NDAs, indications, policy drafting, contract terms, underwriting requests and policy issuance
  • Engage with Private Equity firms, corporations, CEOs/CFOs, law firms, banks and the M&A community to source deals
  • Build relationships with Italian and international colleagues to act as strategic deal advisor and grow the M&A insurance business

Responsabilità

  • Master's Degree in Law
  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience in corporate transactions in private practice with an emphasis on private M&A
  • Experience with corporate tax is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; other languages are a plus
  • Strong organizational, project management, and detail orientation
  • Client orientation, commercial acumen, decisive, persuasiveness, motivation and resilience
  • Strong team orientation, sense of responsibility and flexibility
