A Day in the Life
We’re looking for a Regional Sales Training Manager who brings more than just expertise in technical and clinical education — we want a strategic thinking, training visionary who can challenge traditional approaches and design learning experiences that truly resonate with adult learners.
Reporting to Global Acute Care & Monitoring Commercial Training, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the capabilities of our commercial teams across the EMEA Region Lead Market, providing additional support to Western Europe as needed, delivering world-class training to enable personalised patient care anytime, anywhere.
This is not just a training role — it’s a chance to influence how we grow, learn, and succeed together.
The work location within the EMEA and Western Europe regions is flexible, but candidates must be prepared to travel up to 50%. Significant time may be spent delivering hands-on training at Medtronic corporate offices and Innovation Centers. International travel will be required.

Responsibilities
- Drive sales excellence within the Acute Care & Monitoring business by collaborating with global and regional training, sales, and marketing to create and deliver clinical and technical training for the Acute Care & Monitoring business. This training will maintain approximately 80% global standardization with 20% tailored customization for the EMEA Region Lead Market.
- Ensure effective program design and implementation to address the needs of new hires, current employees, leadership, and support functions across the region.
- Identify knowledge and skill gaps within the field team and propose targeted training events to enhance team capabilities.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to execute training programs that facilitate successful product launches and achieve sales objectives.
- Partner closely with regional Commercial Excellence teams and third-party vendors to support initiatives in non-clinical commercial skills as needed.
- Actively fostering and maintaining networks across business units and functions collaborating closely with key stakeholders ensuring programs are locally relevant, globally consistent and accessible for users.
- Actively involved in sales training programs with experience coaching and mentoring new or less experienced sellers, leading to measurable positive outcomes.
- Demonstrate leadership in driving change, creativity, and innovation in current or past roles.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Successful 5 years combined experience in two or more of the following functions: medical device sales or marketing, clinical expertise (nursing, etc.), training delivery, or other relevant areas, with a strong track record and demonstration of individual and team results.
- At least 3 years of field sales experience demonstrating strong commercial acumen and in-depth knowledge of the requirements to succeed commercially and support organization structure, processes, and culture.
- Excellent influencing, interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills with demonstrated leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Experience in diverse workplace environments, effectively working with notably different learning, thinking and working styles.
- Proven track record of navigating and collaborating within a global matrix organization.
- Proven track record of individual and team achievement with a natural drive for results.
- Experience with project management / project leadership, excellent planning and organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English is required.
Nice to Have
- ACM portfolio product and clinical knowledge.
- Understanding of broader Medtronic business unit portfolios and processes
- Learning Design and Training Administration experience, an interest and skill in creating learning resources, administering LMS systems and effectively managing records and documentation.
- Proficiency in languages other than English, language capabilities for those spoken within the region is desired.
