The team you will be a part of

The Retail Marketing team is accountable for driving sell‑out to the end‑consumer through stores across all Channels by designing and executing the merchandising strategy as well as leveraging on the Promoter network across the geography.

This role in summary

We are seeking a Trade Marketing Specialist to join our team in Milan. This role will be responsible for implementing and executing trade marketing plans (pricing, canvass and promo plans, product distribution) for the selected Trade Partners.

Moreover, the person is cooperating with the rest of the team, with the category team and the sales team to prepare and meet the Trade Partner and supporting the manager for the Marketing plan preparation and execution.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Analyze sell in, sell out, display share, and promo activities
  • Update constantly price conditions in SAP
  • Regular reporting activity to monitor the business and propose improvement
  • Relationship with trade, sales teams and the other functions
  • Execute canvass and promo activities, monitoring the results
  • Cooperate with the team to simplify and improve the daily activities

This role demands a highly versatile skill set – especially analytical skills and keen eye for detail for orchestrating promotional plans and engaging all key stakeholders within the commercial team to deliver their contribution completely and on time, to analyzing financial returns and providing insight and commentary on performance to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Trade Marketing or similar roles
  • Analytical skills
  • SAP knowledge
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a deadline driven environment

  • Commercial experience in large national accounts
