About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and data-driven Trade Marketing Manager to lead our trade marketing strategy across key European markets — Italy, Romania, and Hungary.
You’ll play a pivotal role in defining commercial strategy, managing budgets, and ensuring the effective allocation of trade investments to drive profitable growth.
This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to translate insights into execution and deliver tangible business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage trade marketing budgets and promotional investments in line with commercial targets.
- Lead continuous P&L monitoring , performance analysis, and monthly reporting to senior management.
- Evaluate sell-in / sell-out performance and ROI across key markets using tools such as Nielsen, IRI, or GfK .
- Design and implement B2C and B2B trade marketing plans , including assortment, promotions, and distribution strategies.
- Develop impactful in-store execution , from POS materials to retail media and brand activations.
- Build and manage Joint Business Plans with strategic customers to strengthen partnerships and category growth.
- Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and trade fairs , leading both strategy and execution.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to align on pricing, performance, and market dynamics.
What We’re Looking For
- ~10 years’ experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or Commercial Strategy within FMCG .
- Proven experience across both retail and OOH channels .
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on P&L ownership.
- Advanced analytical skills with exposure to market data tools (Nielsen / IRI / GfK) .
- Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English (Italian is an advantage).
- Willingness to travel across Italy, Romania, and Hungary.
