  • As Trade Category Manager, reporting directly to the Trade Marketing Director, you will be responsible for driving the optimization of some of our product categories to maximize profitability and growth.

A category specialist and an intern will report to the Trade Category Manager.

Your main tasks will be :

  1. Define the 360° Commercial Vision & Strategy of the category, focusing on areas and channels (shelf, assortment, distribution, promo, Perfect Store initiatives).
  2. Define the commercial policy of the category in terms of assortment and promotional guidelines and track their effectiveness.
  3. Serve as the point of reference for the S&OP process with a Risk & Opportunities assessment approach to guide short, medium, and long-term growth objectives within your perimeter.
  4. Structure periodic reports for tracking sell-in & sell-out data by area, channel, and customers.
  5. Define and manage category listing budgets.
  6. Support the Sales team in building the plan per customer and developing Category Management projects.
  7. Support the Perfect Store team in identifying point of sale execution opportunities by channel/customer.
  8. Collaborate with other functions, particularly Marketing & Finance, for category development.

If you have:

  1. 4+ years of business experience in Trade Marketing and Sales, preferably in an FMCG company.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or any relevant field.
  3. Solid commercial acumen.
  4. High level of logical and analytical skills, with the ability to distill information and uncover insights from various sources.
