Job description

MICLA is looking for a TWC Manager who will be employed within warranty cost optimization team for automotive vehicle programs within Infotainment subsystems. The objective of this role is to reduce warranty costs without compromising product quality and customer satisfaction.

The TWS role is a cross-functional role, closely linked to quality, engineering and production. It is a sort of "operational warranty controller" who:

  • identifies problems
  • coordinates different teams
  • ensures that solutions are implemented
  • directly contributes to reducing post-sales costs

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Monitor all open warranty issues, ensuring they are progressing on schedule
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings and remove obstacles to ensure timely closure of initiatives
  • Analyze the root causes of warranty issues and guide corrective actions with teams from:
    • Manufacturing
    • Engineering
    • Supplier Quality
    • Customer Experience
    • Parts & Service
  • To pull and prepare statistics analysis
  • Identify opportunities to reduce warranty spend by addressing both design and manufacturing and service processes
  • Support all plants in TWS-related initiatives
  • Manage communication with leadership and operations teams on all warranty cost-related activities
  • Escalate slow or stalled initiatives to ensure they are unblocked quickly

Requisiti

Key Requirements

  • Background in Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent
  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science, or Automotive Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in a warranty, quality, or program management role
  • Strong project management skills
  • Analytical and data-driven skills
  • Communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Additional Information

  • Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is required
