About the Role

Thermodyn Commercial Leader – New Units

Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team of Commercial Managers to deliver high‑quality, responsive, and competitive techno‑commercial proposals for ICL.
  • Collaborate with the Global Sales Leader and Application Engineering Leader to develop commercial strategies and solutions that meet customer requirements and exceed business goals.
  • Accelerate ICL growth and develop regional commercial strategies.
  • Support negotiation with customers for strategic deals; ensure shareholder value and competitive pricing.
  • Provide leadership and guidance during the deal review process, integrating technical risk mitigation and risk acceptance in proposal scope, cost, and wording.
  • Drive talent development, growth, and retention for the team.
  • Build and manage training programs to deepen team expertise.
  • Manage complex long‑term sales processes, including pricing and terms & conditions.
  • Handle key business‑unit clients and large, highly complex markets with high growth potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably Engineering.
  • Significant experience in managing Commercial Operations or Sales.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Experience leading programs, projects, and teams.
  • Unbiased and innovative perspective, challenging the status quo and aligning with market evolution.
  • Coaching and talent‑development ability; previous people‑leader experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of commercial/legal aspects of contractual terms & conditions.
  • Knowledge of IET GTE ITO processes and tools used to generate proposals and hand‑off to OTR, plus an in‑depth understanding of IET markets and customers.
  • Ability to travel for business needs.
